HR’s role in Leading Innovation in Organisations

From Design to Delivery

A session hosted by FT | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance

Innovation is a fundamental pillar in the establishment, progress, survival and success of businesses. Organisations need to start treating innovation more strategically and as an integral component of their business models. HR needs to understand the role of innovation in organisations to help identify the skills and mindsets that are required to support innovation activities at their organisations.

HR and L&D leaders are invited to explore many of the key issues around innovation, with John Gapper business columnist and associate editor of the Financial Times and Professor Sami Mahroum, member of the FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance global educator network.

This Masterclass introduces participants to the world of innovation through an experiential and interactive learning session and engage in discussions around some of the following questions:

  • What is innovation?
  • What are the sources of innovation at companies and organisations?
  • What characterizes an innovative organisation?
  • How can innovation be managed and sustained?
  • How do companies use innovation to build new business models and launch new products and services to the market?

Places at this exclusive event are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Our exclusive Masterclasses covering topics relating to the learning programmes we deliver. These interactive sessions, delivered by professors, FT journalists and members of the global educator network of the Corporate Learning Alliance, provide participants with practical and relevant knowledge.
