HR Talks

HR’s role in leading the Digital Transformation

An evening session hosted by FT | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance

Tomorrow’s world of work will be reshaped in large part by Artificial intelligence (AI) combined with successive waves of scientific and technological developments such as Blockchain and Big Data.

As part of the UAE Vision 2021, the nation is heavily investing in the professional development and promotion of its workforce as well as working to balance imported vs local talent. HR needs to pave the way for transformation. It must anticipate companies’ future needs and demands and ensure continuous development and support for employees to help them become more resilient. HR must also adopt a strategic role by sourcing partners, consultants and governmental advice to facilitate change within a global business environment.

This session gathers an exclusive group limited number of HR leaders and senior HR professionals from a range of industries who share a passion for strategy, technology and innovation. The roundtable will be moderated by Lyndsey Jones, Executive Editor at Financial Times and Paul Lalovich, FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance educator.

This roundtable will cover the following points:

  • Facing AI and machine learning in the corporate world
  • Attitudes towards AI- workplace bias
  • Implications of ‘man v machine’
  • Digital disruption and the effects on the HR department
  • The impact of Blockchain and Big Data
  • Government support for corporate transformation

Places at this exclusive event are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
